One of the most useful lessons I learned at Dev Bootcamp is to lean into the problem. As developers, we are faced with problems we don’t know how to solve all day long. If you tend to run away at the first sign of trouble, you’re not going to be a good developer.

Yet, your instinct might be to run away. I know that was my initial instinct when I first started learning to code.

Luckily, after enough practice of coming back and seeing the problem through (leaning in!), my new instinct is to figure it out no matter what obstacles stand in my way.

That new instinct has been invaluable to me in my new career as a Software Engineer. So lean in no matter how hard it might be, and you will get very far.
